So what to expect in this page? I'll start with what I've been up to lately, then a short bio just to lay the ground for our introduction. Then I'll explain a little bit about my take on creating with AI, and will add a peek into my techniques. I will finish by stating my dream collab, specifying projects I hope to get and professionals I wish to work with, hopefully you are one of them! Finally I'll lay out my contact info.
In September a show opened in the Holon Design Museum that featured my work, a video-art piece. I am proud to be part of the talented bunch that is showing there right now. In parallel with creating the type of art you see here I am a product designer, and also a lecturer in the Betzalel Academy of Art and Design which is also something I am very passionate about, I feel like teaching design in todays quickly changing world really keeps you on your toes, and also I love the energy of the next generations of designers.
I live in Tel Aviv, work at Simply as a product designer, and I have my own business around illustration, image making and video art. As I mentioned I am also a lecturer in Betzalel where I teach my own class about illustration for digital products. I myself graduated from there in 2010 since then I went from being an art director in advertising and bringing agencies - to a product designer with a strong visual tendency.
All along I had been running my own operation creating illustrations, brand identities and lately video and image making with AI.
Born in St Petersubrg, raised in Jerusalem by two designer-illustrator parents, so design is literally part of my DNA and I can't imagine doing anything else.
I also have a son, named Lev, he is the largest project I've worked on :) and I am proud to be his mom.
I know there are a lot of people saying AI can't be art, and that you hadn't actually created anything yourself. I disagree. For me it is a tool same as Adobe software or a glue gun. And it all depends on the concept and context of your creation no matter the tool. I use it to bring my ideas to life, I had created things I never dreamed I would, like music videos and fashion shoots.
In my prompting I respect copy rights and never mention names of other artists or submit someone elses art as a reference for my own profit. Also we must remember this is still an evolving situation, you could say we are in the middle of the storm and we are not sure yet how it will settle down, in the meantime I am just experimenting with whatever tools I can put my hands on.
I did not abandon real handmade craft, I still illustrate and I will always gravitate towards the natural and the tactile. Even my first ever AI generated visual was an embroidery. That by the way took forever because I regenerated every tiny bit until it was perfect, so who's to say it is not a craft?
I believe, talent (and lack there of) is showing no matter what tools we use.
The main tool I use for Image generation is Midjourney, I create a style profile for every project to steer the model in the right direction. Complementary to that I use whatever other models I need for specific tasks. For video I chose one of the latest models - whichever one is best for the task at hand. I create flows in Figma Weave for larger scaled projects. I also create music in Suno and Narrations in Eleven labs, and if needed I create interfaces to generate certain kinds of visuals at scale using Claude Code or Codex. The latter also serve me in building websites like this one. Hoping to dive deeper into creating and working on 3D with AI
First of all I thank you for taking an interest in me, and if you feel we can collaborate I would love to hear from you.
I would be glad to collaborate with whoever is looking for special visuals for their project, could be interior design, brand design, stage design etc. Also I would be happy to art direct and create music videos, fashion shoots or commercials, encorporating real people or products. I can also prepare a visual language flow that can serve a design team to keep creating autonomously.
I am also curious to hear from curators or artists of complementary fields, about any project or exhibitions I can take part in.
